Job Title: Structural Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a Project Level Structural Engineer to join our multi-discipline engineering firm. The candidate will support structural modeling, analysis, and design of military, healthcare, education, commercial, and civic facilities. The ideal candidate should have at least 4 years of structural engineering experience, a PE registration in WA or the ability to obtain one, and experience collaborating across disciplines. Proficiency in REVIT BIM, AutoCAD, ETABS, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software is required.
Responsibilities
Perform structural modeling, analysis, and design for various facilities including military, healthcare, education, commercial, and civic buildings.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive engineering solutions.
Utilize software such as REVIT BIM, AutoCAD, and ETABS for structural design and analysis.
Conduct seismic screenings, evaluations, and rehabilitation using ASCE 41 standards.
Produce construction drawings, reports, and specifications.
Participate in construction administration during construction phases.
Complete structural evaluations and upgrades for various infrastructures.
Essential Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
At least 4 years of structural engineering experience.
Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE) with an interest in obtaining an SE license.
Experience with structural modeling, analysis, and design of civil engineering projects.
Proficiency in REVIT BIM, AutoCAD, ETABS, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Strong understanding of static and dynamic behavior and stability of structures.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with RISA 3D, Civil 3D, infrastructure, foundation design, and MathCAD.
Experience in structural design and analysis for military, healthcare, education, commercial, and civic facilities.
Knowledge of construction administration during construction phases.
Ability to complete seismic screenings, evaluations, rehabilitation, and upgrades using ASCE 41 standards.
Work Environment
We encourage engineers to be in the office 5 days a week, with a minimum requirement of being in the office Monday through Wednesday and hybrid options available on Thursday and Friday. Occasionally, onsite visits may be required, including visits to military bases.
