Adecco US, Inc. SIT Material Handler in Everett, Washington
Adecco is helping their client in Everett find their next Material Handler.
In this role, you will be responsible for shipping, receiving, packaging, counting, sorting, labeling, and routing material (may involve chemicals), completing associated paperwork and/or, pallet jack, etc.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Responsible for inventorying, sorting, segregating, labeling, assigned picking and packaging. Route packaging materials to proper departments.
• Coordinate receiving/shipping and material handling transactions with appropriate individuals/departments.
• Instruct and/or assist in preparing merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain necessary records and files of transactions, verifying accuracy of shipments against bills of lading, invoices or other records on Oracle or other systems.
• Arranges stock to best advantage for efficiency and accessibility. Adheres to all safety rules and may use forklift and other material moving tools and moving machinery.
• Deliver product from receiving to the appropriate destination.
• Expedite internal material requirements, transferring inventory to multiple locations including MRB.
• Performs inventories; physically perform and transact cycle counts of materials. Reconcile bad counts with assistance from Buyer/Planner.
• Performs other shipping/receiving, material handling, inventory control, finished goods & storekeeping duties as assigned.
Required:
• A minimum of 6 months of experience in a Material Handler or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic understanding of Excel and ERP systems for data entry.
Preferred:
• Experience with automated carousels.
• International shipping experience.
• Previous pallet jack, forklift experience.
• Oracle experience.
Working Conditions and Basic Requirements:
• Manufacturing environment
• Safety glasses may be required.
• Repetitive use of upper extremities.
• Position may require occasional heavy lifting (> 50 lbs) or movement of objects up to 40 lbs and frequent lifting <20lbs.
1st shift, Monday through Thursday, 5:00am to 3:30pm
Pay is up to $19/hour based on experience.
