Spectraforce Technologies Inc. Procurement Field Representative in Everett, Washington

Job title: Procurement Field Representative Duration: 12 Months Location: Everett or Renton, WA (work in office 2 days per week either at the Everett or Renton office) Shift timings: 1st shift 7 AM to 4 PM Main job responsibilities: * Manages work movement projects between suppliers and supplier facility moves. * Co-facilitates with the supplier the development of a recovery plan and unplanned demand requirements. Participates in on-site supplier visits (e.g. Preferred Supplier Certification, Proof of Process, and Rate Readiness) to identify supplier capacity and capability to perform current and projected work statement and support the company's procurement strategy.Monitors suppliers' performance-to-plan to ensure compliance to contractual requirements and provides status back to supervisor and procurement agent. * Learns and practices applicable client policies and procedures. * Leads efforts to establish executable plans, ensure performance to plan, mitigate risk, and resolve supply chain issues (technical or non-technical) associated with work movement, partnering with key suppliers and Supply Chain partners to drive quality and on-time parts delivery. * Engages suppliers and provides technical assistance in areas such as manufacturing, planning, and requirements interpretation to ensure delivery schedule compliance and product conformity. Monitors metrics and manages work movements through a gated process and ensures process compliance. * Communicates with internal customers and stakeholders (i.e. procurement agents, suppliers, field quality, field operations, engineering and manufacturing) to report work movement status, risks, and help needed. * Contribute positively on-site supplier assessments to validate transition and delivery plans, identify supplier capacity and capability to perform current and projected work statement, and support the company's procurement strategy associated with the work movement. * Assists suppliers in developing plans and monitors suppliers' performance-to-plan to ensure compliance to contractual requirements related to the work movements. * Identifies and communicates opportunities to implement new processes or improve existing processes (e.g., lean manufacturing, shop floor control, work prioritization, production, and inventory control system) to enhance supplier ability to produce and deliver products and services.
