Patient Advocate - Intervention Ctr Assault Abuse-Everett (Per Diem/On Call, Variable Shift)
Work Schedule : On Call - Evenings and/or Nights: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM and 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM
Provides general, medical and legal advocacy, crisis intervention, and information and referrals for adult and child victims and the families who have experienced sexual/physical assault or abuse. Works with law enforcement, prosecutor's office, child welfare agencies and mental health professionals to coordinate and improve system response to victims in the county. Provides outreach and education to the community about PICAA services and issues related to victimization. Performs all duties in a manner which promotes and supports the Core Values of the Sisters of Providence.

Required qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences or related field.
upon request: Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional information.
Recent experience working with adult and child victims.
Advocacy with victims of all ages.
