$72,552 - $97,569 Annually
Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking two Transportation Engineer 3's to serve as Construction Team Leads in Everett, WA. This position directly reports to the Assistant Project Engineer and is tasked with the administration of multiple construction projects; for both Design-Bid-Build and Design-Build. The primary expectations of this position are to lead and schedule team members in order to provide: safe, reliable and cost effective transportation options for the public by inspecting the construction work performed by contractors; protection of the environment; sampling, testing and documentation for all the materials incorporated into assigned projects, making sure team members submit timely Inspector Daily Reports, Field Note Records, force account records and weigh tickets to facilitate paying the contractor; communicating regularly with the team, supervisors, contractors, subject matter experts, NWR, other agencies and stakeholders; mentoring and developing staff, making timely decisions and partnering with the contractor to deliver projects on time and on budget.
