Description Chaplain- Providence SCS Home Health- Snohomish Schedule: Days/Part Time working 3 days a week. The Chaplain provides professional and competent spiritual care ministry, and is responsible for serving the spiritual, religious, and emotional needs of others primarily in home health setting and may support inpatient, outpatient and/or community settings. As a member of the healthcare team, the chaplain is directly responsible for the implementation of the mission, values, polices, and procedures of the Department of Spiritual Care and the facility in which they serve. Required Qualifications: Master's Degree Theology, Divinity, Spirituality, Pastoral Ministry or the equivalent applicable education from an accredited institution. Coursework/Training CPE(Clinical Pastoral Education) 4 units-Accredited or approved by the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education (ACPE), by programs that were accredited by the former United States Conference of Catholic Bishops Commission on Certification and Accreditation (USCCB/CCA), or the Canadian Association for Spiritual Care (CASC/ACSS). Equivalency for one unit of CPE (two units in CASC) may be considered. within 3 years of hire National Chaplain Certification upon hire: Endorsement by sponsoring religious group. within 3 years of hire: Maintains board certification by professional chaplain organizations that follow the Common Competencies for Professional Chaplains, including the following: Association of Professional Chaplains (APC); National Association of Catholic Chaplains (NACC); National Association of Jewish Chaplains (NAJC); Association of Clinical Pastoral Education (ACPE) or the Canadian Association for Pastoral Practice and Education (CASC).
