Job Description Summary

Responsible for facilitating transactions, producing, assembling and delivering replacement/ repair parts and equipment as part of a Services agreement or order.

Includes activities such as processing transactions, managing processes, material management, site operations, or warehouse logistics & shipping, sometimes in a shop structure. Includes craft & non craft labour as well as manager roles responsible solely for these activities. Responsible for departmental operations planning/execution or is focused on execution of professional activities within a technical discipline. Functions with some autonomy but guided by established policies or review of end results.

The job allows modification of procedures and practices covering work as long as the end results meet standards of acceptability (quality, volume, timeliness etc.).

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Facilitate order management - process order intake, input into internal systems. Connect to customer portals and systems. May support forecasting, billing and collection activities.Key contact for customer inquiries, customer complaint (issue) resolution process. Work with operations to understand and communicate commits and status to customers.

  • Responsible for coordination and shipment of material required to support customer demand for all 700+ parts. • Interface with all levels of supply chain to assure adequate material support • Expedite and prioritize critical shortage items in support of T700 and CT7 engine line. • Coordination of work flow’s requiring pull in/push out to support both material and inventory goals

  • Interfacing with receiving, pack shop, quality and traffic • Request, update, and facilitate all AMPS orders • Publish and update daily critical/shortage report. • Maintain “Material Support” file, identifying commitment get well dates and supply chain developments. • Support and attend internal, external meetings, focused on T700/CT7 Hanwha (Korea), IHI (Japan), Far East contract metrics, including, but not limited to, material availability, expedites, forecasting, quality, shipping, customer returns.

  • Interface with cross-functional platforms (T64, J85, TF34) to discipline best practices and standardize processes.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).

  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
