Traveling Mechanic

Job Description

Seeking a highly skilled Traveling Mechanic to conduct regular maintenance, inspection, and assembly of industrial equipment. The role involves assembling mechanical components, overseeing diagnostic tests to determine functionality problems, and actively designing maintenance plans for upgrades and replacements. The successful candidate will maintain detailed work logs, records of repairs and maintenance, and manage inventory including ordering new parts. Additionally, the mechanic will perform assessments of equipment and machinery to proactively identify and inform clients of potential issues. Adherence to safety policies, standards, and procedures is mandatory, with an expectation to report incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions immediately.

Job Type

This is a 12 month contract position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position with locations in WY, TX, CO, and UT.

Work Environment

• Shop hours are from 7 am to 6 pm

• Field technicians are on call 24/7

• Overtime is expected, with a maximum of 6 12-hour shifts
