Gross weekly pay = $2,926 wk./36 hrs.

40 MILE RADIUS RULE - NO LOCAL CANDIDATES

Start: ASAP

Contract length: 13 weeks

Shifts: 4x10 hr pms (2p-1230a) Primarily Monday-Thursday

Guaranteed Hours: 40

Float Requirements: N/A

On Call/Call Back Requirements: N/A

Weekend/Holiday Requirements: Weekends as scheduled/no holidays

Required certifications to be attached upon submittal: ARRT, IN license, CT registered by ARRT

Minimum experience required: 1 year

Charting experience required: Epic

Required Skillset: experience on GE CT scanners

Unit Information (Bed size, Case type, Patient ratio): Midtown 350 bed tertiary center. Gateway 200 bed acute.

GSA hours are not guaranteed the week of Orientation. Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where unit is closed

The CAT/CT Scan Technologist produces computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of specific areas as ordered by a physician. These cross-sectional images provide detailed information about soft tissues, blood vessels, and bones, which are essential for accurate diagnostics. The CAT/CT Scan Technologist obtains patient history, explains standard procedures, and addresses patient concerns. The CAT/CT Technologist also performs a variety of specialized tasks involved in the performance of CT scans.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • One (1) year of experience as a CAT/CT Technologist preferred.

  • Appropriate valid state licensure in diagnostic imaging

  • A.R.R.T. (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification, if required by state regulations or contract specifications

  • Current CPR if applicable

  • TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

  • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
