Kelly Services Forklift Operator in Evansville, Indiana

Location: Evansville, IN

Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Pay: $18/hour

Job Description:

Kelly Services is seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator to join our team in Evansville, IN. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling the customer's packaged and pre-packaged products that are shipped, received, and stored at our facility. Key responsibilities include:

  • Operating warehouse forklifts safely at all times

  • Ensuring products and supplies are safely handled and accurately recorded into our system

  • Verifying the condition of customer packages and reporting non-conformance on NCR forms

  • Maintaining housekeeping of Warehouse and Dock facilities

  • Assisting in all warehouse operations as required

  • Reporting findings of contaminants to management

  • Taking product samples as needed

  • Communicating all problems and issues to management

  • Accurately inputting data into the system as needed

Qualifications:

  • Must have 1 year of sit-down propane forklift experience (certified forklift license preferred)

  • Must have at least 6 consecutive months of daily forklift driving experience

  • A valid state driver’s license

  • Ability to lift up to 55 pounds for 15 minutes

  • Ability to lift and move pallets weighing up to 75 pounds
