Insight Global Cloud Solutions Architect in Evansville, Indiana

Job Description

The Telephony Cloud Solutions Architect is responsible for leading the architecture and engineering of telephony solutions. This individual contributor role focuses on establishing an enterprise telephony platform that supports call centers, branches, and corporate sites, including functions such as inbound/outbound dialing, call recording, dialer/IVR, and other voice servicing functions. A significant part of this role involves developing technology strategies, particularly shifting to cloud servicing. The position is part of the Network & Communications team within Technology and involves close collaboration with infrastructure engineering, product delivery lanes, enterprise architecture, and multiple business departments. Key responsibilities include designing and implementing telephony-as-a-service solutions to meet dynamic business needs, defining non-functional requirements for cloud-based telephony platforms, coaching junior telephony engineers to develop cloud engineering skillsets, driving automation via Ansible and/or Terraform, managing hybrid on-prem/cloud environments, and establishing and managing telephony service level agreements. Experience working in an Agile or similar environment is also essential. This is contract position with the possibility of a full time hire or extensions and ranges from $63-82/hour.

Skills and Requirements

· Minimum of 5 years of experience managing the deployment of complex cloud telephony solutions in an large scale environment

 · Design and implementation of large-scale CCaaS and UCaaS platforms

Experience configuring and implementing telephony services hoted platforms such as Avaya, Alvaria/Noble, NICE, Five9, LiveVOX, RingCentral, or Amazon Connect. · Related Certifications

 · Experience mentoring junior engineers
