Responsibilities

1. Lead the achievement of a zero-injury workplace by ensuring safe work conditions for Team Members, and compliance with all state and federal regulations on EHS issues.

2. Establish and maintain an effective cost saving program.

3. Develop, implement, and maintain preventative maintenance program for all production equipment.

4. Coordinate all preventative maintenance downtime with the Scheduling Department

5. Provide guidance to Group leaders and Supervisor in the Printing Department.

6. Evaluate and provide proper training for all department personnel.

7. Responsible for ensuring all standards of ISO and SQF are met.

8. Oversee and ensure all department expenses are held within the department budget.

9. Establish an annual listing of department capital expenditures.

10. Maintain an annual listing of department operating expenditures.

11. Maintain a professional, motivated, and positive working environment among Printing Department personnel.

12. Conduct weekly operational meetings with Printing Department personnel.

13. Attend weekly overstock meetings

14. Maintain a vacation log for department technicians and pressmen.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Management/ Business preferred.

2. Strong organizational skills with proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.

3. Extensive printing knowledge.

4. Ability to lead, motivate, and direct employees.
