Job Summary

  • Sets up foods such as beverages, butters bread for residents according to diets and preferences.

  • Delivers appropriate meal trays to resident dining room tables.

  • Sets up and clears the dining room tables.

  • Assists cook with resident meal service.

  • Scrapes dishes, pots and tableware prior to washing.

  • Loads and operates dishwasher.

  • Empties dishwashing machine, stacks and stores dishes, pots, pans, utensils and silverware according to procedure.

  • Cleans resident dining room after meals.

  • Participates in daily cleaning activities such as mopping floors, cleaning shelves/counters/sinks, and sanitizing carts.

  • Maintains a resident focused approach and responds to resident request as able in respectful manner.

  • Promotes, adheres to and supports resident rights.

Education and/or Experience

  • Graduation from high school preferred or in process of graduation, GED accepted.

  • Previous experience in working with people and in demonstrating respect to others.

Work Schedule

  • Day/Evening shifts; 48 hours every 2 weeks

  • 11:30 pm - 8:00 pm

  • Every other weekend

  • Every other holiday

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

  • $17.00 - $20.50 per hour
