Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for our manufacturing facility. As a Crane Builder/Crane Assembler, you will be tasked with assembling structural forms such as crane components, cranes, jib cranes, and structures. You will perform electrical assembly/wiring for overhead cranes, test cranes, and repair hoists. Your responsibilities will include wiring new cranes during the fabrication process, assembling 3-phase and single-phase electric hoists, pneumatic hoists, and wiring control boxes. You will also be involved in the assembly and testing of various crane system electrical components. In addition, you will determine the proper material layout, operate various handheld pneumatic and electric power tools, and inspect and operate finished products to ensure conformance with specifications and quality requirements.

Hard Skills

  • Ability to read blueprints

  • Understanding wiring to PLC and troubleshooting process

  • Experience with Variable Frequence Drives (VFD's)

  • Ability to run conduit

  • Experience working with 460/480V power

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Eureka, Illinois.

Work Environment

In this role, you will work in a large scale manufacturing environment that specializes in manufacturing large jib cranes. Your typical work hours will be first shift. You will be one of about 60-70 employees at the facility, which is spread across multiple buildings. Despite the size of the facility, you will work with a smaller team.
