WorkSource Oregon Peer Engagement Manager in EUGENE, Oregon

We are hiring for this position in either Eugene or Roseburg. Bilingual candidates are eligible for an additional \$1.50 Bilingual Differential. This bilingual differential is not included in the salary above. Position Summary The Peer Engagement Manager administers and oversees a peer engagement program at HIV Alliance. The manager oversee an intervention providing support and training for People who Inject Drugs (PWID), \'Program Participant Peers\', who will receive incentives to promote COVID rapid self-tests to their peers as well as HIV prevention activities like rapid HIV testing, STD testing, PrEP Coordination and overdose prevention. The Peer Engagement Manager will also oversee tasks supporting peer services, including data collection, incentive tracking and distribution, billing, documentation review, and reports. The Peer Engagement Manager will coordinate with programs inside and outside HIV Alliance to facilitate participant training and engagement and to promote HIV Alliance Peer Support Services Programs. The Peer Engagement Manager will be responsible for personnel management, including hiring, training, evaluating, and scheduling of staff, as well as quality management. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Program Management Supervise a team of Peer Support Specialists, Employment Specialists and Program Participant Peers Provide customized training and support to the team Work with the program staff, management team, Behavioral Health Manager, and Program Director to develop, implement, and oversee program activities; Identify and address training gaps for HIVA staff working with program participants Encourage and empower program participants to share input, participate in training and schedule shifts Cleary communicate with staff and participants regarding expectations, boundaries and issues as they arise Support Peers who will provide real time, meaningful feedback and coaching to participants Coordinate the activities of the Peer Support Specialists and Program Participant Peers, including referral flow, clinical supervision, quality management, continuity of care, scheduling, and conflict management; Conduct hiring, training, and evaluation of new and existing staff; Work with agency administration on payroll and human resources activities; Oversee compliance in data management, reporting, and billing activities; Perform other duties as assigned/needed; Provide coverage for other managers and other departments as needed; Build relationships with community partners including law enforcement, hospitals, jails, treatment centers, behavioral health providers, and other social service agencies For a complete job description, please visit: https://hivalliance.criterionhcm.com/jobs/51/1/#592
