Kimberly Casey with Robert Half is seeking a Payroll Specialist for a local manufacturing company in Eugene. The Payroll Specialist will process payroll for over 200 employees using ADP and Kronos systems. We are in search of an experienced candidate that is experienced with full cycle payroll processing, with exceptional customer service skills. Your proficiency in payroll management will be key in maintaining precise records, addressing inquiries, and ensuring timely payroll disbursement. It is 100% in-office.

Responsibilities:

• Administer semi-monthly payroll for our organization and subsidiary entities using ADP Workforce Now and Kronos Timekeeping systems.

• Collaborate with Human Resources to furnish payroll processing reports for examination and endorsement.

• Address timecard discrepancies with managers and offer training when necessary.

• Guarantee timely delivery of pay statements and year-end tax documents to employees.

• Oversee vendor portals for payroll-related uploads and invoices, implementing wire transfers for payroll funding and/or payroll tax purposes.

• Collaborate with accounting to rectify payroll cycle inconsistencies.

• Prepare final paychecks for employees concluding their tenure with our organization.

• Serve as the go-to person for employees and retirees for all payroll related questions.

• Stay updated on new laws and regulations pertaining to payroll and tax matters.

Requirements

• Possess a minimum of 3 years' experience in a payroll specialist role or similar position

• Experience in handling payroll for 200+ employees

• Knowledge and experience in managing multi-state payroll processes

• Familiarity with payroll laws and regulations

• Proficient in using various payroll software

• Understanding and experience in dealing with Prevailing Wage a plus

• Experience in using Kronos and Kronos Timekeeping System desired, but not required

• Proficiency in using ADP Workforce Now and ADP - Payroll systems is desired, but not required
