Hourly pay: $15.00

About the Position

The Lane County Public Works Land Management Division seeks an extra help employee to join our team. Land Management, located at the Customer Service Center on Delta Highway in Eugene, needs support with the following duties:

  • Data entry

  • Scanning

  • General office support, including filing, mail distribution, and voicemail transcription

    About the Division

    LAND MANAGEMENT: The Land Management Division includes the following programs: Land Use Planning, Building Safety, Administration and Code Compliance. The Division provides customer service in areas such as issuing planning, building, and septic permits; reviewing building plans; inspecting structures for compliance with state and national code standards and regulations; and responding to complaints of code violations.

Schedule: Approximately 30 hours per week between the hours of: Monday – Friday; 8:00 am-5:00 pm

This is a non-represented position

  • This position is budgeted for a maximum of 520 hours during the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2024 and ending June 30, 2025.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be 18 or older at time of hire

• Minimum typing skill of 40 wpm required

• Previous experience with office tasks, including:

  • File management

  • Scanning

  • Record reports

  • Data entry

  • Customer service

    DRIVER’S LICENSE

    Must be in possession of a valid driver's license at time of application, and a valid Oregon Driver's license by time of appointment.
