As a Manager you will oversee our Scrum Teams in Product Development and Tier3 support team. You will manage a dynamic team, ensuring exceptional product quality, security, and resilience, and acting as a primary liaison with various business leaders.
To thrive in this role, you'll need expert-level knowledge of software development at scale, including knowledge of functional programming . Your ability to communicate clearly and effectively will keep the team informed of company-wide initiatives and leaders comfortable with the team's progress. Team collaboration and exchange of ideas are central to projects here. You will be a role model for motivating yourself and the team to maintain positive momentum and energy. Everyone can lose the big picture from time to time, but you're the team leader who helps everyone find it again and deliver.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Here's what you can expect on a typical day:
Team Management: Lead a product development team of 10-12 members, including programmers, technical leads, and a scrum master. Oversee a Tier 3 support team composed of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), developers, and business analysts.
Project Execution: Ensure the effective execution of product development initiatives, focusing on quality, security, and resilience of the products.
Leadership and Development: Responsible for people leadership, fostering team engagement, conducting periodic engagement and performance pulses, and managing compensation planning.
Performance Management: Set clear performance expectations for team members aligned with organization goals. Ensure team members have access to all resources required for success and monitor performance to effectively reward and recognize achievements and promptly address underperformance through regular check-ins and formal evaluations.
Strategic Oversight: Provide strategic oversight and direction to product development.
Quality Assurance: Monitor and ensure the quality of both product development and support services.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with product development and support.
Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring alignment of goals and expectations.
TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:
You'll have a Bachelor's degree OR equivalent.
Minimum of 12 years of professional experience in relevant field.
Proven experience in managing scrum teams and product development.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Demonstrated ability to handle Tier 3 support issues.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Experience in strategic planning, quality assurance, and risk management.
Technical Expertise: Good understanding of technology and experience working on developing products. Proficiency in .NET framework, Groovy, Oracle, MongoDB, JPA, React, Angular, JavaScript, RESTful Web Services, AWS, and Kafka.
