As the Accountant for Emerson you are primarily responsible for the monthly MEXGAAP closing and its balance sheet integrations, regarding the accounting of the transactions of the company and Shared Services centers, ensuring its execution in compliance with policies and procedures, local Financial Reporting Standards, preparation and compilation of monthly key information from external and internal audits; tax accounting records and their balance sheet integrations in accordance with Policies and Procedures; daily monitoring of postings in plant requisition books, monitoring of USGAAP vs MEXGAAP balances and is responsible for Corporate Budget Expense requirements, indicator board, Scorecard, CAPEX, Cost Reduction and Cash Flows, and analysis for determination of reimbursements of the FTEC Business Unit.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Prepare the MEXGAAP monthly closing

Tax accounting records, their balance sheet integrations and monitoring of purges and/or corrections.

Review all accounting records of plant requisitions daily to guarantee adequate registration.

Effective management of the plant checkbook.

Prepare and backup of MEXGAAP closing reports online.

Preparation of Plant Indicator Board, Scorecard and SOP report.

Preparation of CAPEX reports.

Monitoring and reporting of transactions with SOFOM – Cash flow.

Review of Plant Cost Reduction Projects.

Prepare of Corporate reports and backup of USGAAP closing reports online.

Prepare purchase requisitions for services from the Finance area and track them until payment.

Coordinate the purchase of labels and their allocation to plant fixed assets.

Prepare quarterly FTEC reimbursement report.

Monthly fixed and variable expenses analysis (vs Budget & Forecast).

Monthly monitoring of the effects of variations in plant hourly rate expenditure.

Routing and preparation of Appropriation request.

Who You Are:

Proficient English

Bachelor degree or equivalent experience accountant

Proficient office

Mexican finance laws

1 year experience
