We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to be part of our Consumer Data Team .

The role
The Senior Data Engineer will act as a point of reference in the technical choices when building data products, in close collaboration with the Consumer Data Product owner and the Data Architects, Engineers and Analysts allocated to the project. You will be part of the team building build the Consumer Data foundations, integrating Consumer Data from different sources into a Snowflake Data Warehouse to support the advanced analytics efforts around Consumer Data.
What you’ll do
Collaborate with Product Owners, Data Scientists, Analysts, and other Stakeholders to understand their data requirements and translate them into technical solutions for a Portfolio of Analytics Services.
Design, develop, and maintain our Data Infrastructure and Systems, including Data Pipelines, Databases and Data Warehouses.
Perform Data Modeling and Database Design/Architecture to support Data storage and retrieval.
Implement and maintain Data Quality and Data Governance processes to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of our data.
Monitor the work of external engineering parties to ensure compliance with Nestle standards and meet expected quality and performance criteria.
Monitor and Troubleshoot Data Pipeline executions and systems to identify and resolve any issues or bottlenecks.

Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in disciplines like Data Science, Computer Science, Economics or a related field.
+7 years of experience demonstrating technical and critical thinking skills in Data Engineering.
Cloud native warehouse technology (BigQuery, Databricks, Snowflake, etc..) is a must. Ideally the candidate will have experience on Snowflake.
Experience building Consumer Data Lakes and Consumer Analytics capabilities is a must.
Experience with Privacy and Security Management Engineering concepts within Snowflake (RBAC, Dynamic/Tag-based Data Masking, Row Level Security/Access Policies, Secure Views, etc.)
Capability to define, apply and evangelize advanced Solution Patterns and Standards to solve complex problems.
Experience with SQL, NoSQL, relational database design (SAP HANA would be a plus), methods for efficiently retrieving data, as well as data preparation/wrangling both on demand and in an industrialized way.
Experience using Big Data batch and streaming tools as well as gathering and processing raw data at scale (including writing scripts, web scraping, calling APIs, SQL queries, etc.
Bonus Points if you:
Experience using DBT for Data Modelling.
You are capable to organize several projects at the same time.
Experience working in a global environment and with virtual teams.
