VCA Acacia Animal Hospital and Pet Resort (http://vcahospitals.com/acacia) is seeking a full-time associate veterinarian. Our mission is to inspire our clients to give their pets the best care they deserve.

Ideal candidates will have 2 years of experience and quality skills in medicine and surgery. An interest in exotic animal medicine, herbal, acupuncture, and holistic medicine is not a requirement but would be exciting additions to our services.

We have served the North San Diego area for more than 60 years. Our 13,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art hospital and pet resort is beautiful and inviting, with a diverse and stimulating caseload. We are equipped with a large clinical pathology laboratory, electronic medical records, digital radiology, ultrasound, diagnostic rigid endoscopy, mobile CT, mobile ultrasonography service, and teleradiology with AI capabilities. We also offer ample training opportunities for continued education, currently offering monthly rounds with a board-certified radiologist, monthly anesthesia training with a board-certified anesthesiologist, and weekly zoomed (exotics) training with a board-certified zoomed (ACZM) doctor. Additionally, we are working toward becoming a fear-free practice. Our tenured team consists of 25 staff members including 5 doctors, 5 RVT's and 5 veterinary assistants that you would work with daily.

The annual salary range for this position is $66,560 to $180,000. This position may also be eligible for other variable pay programs.
