Position Summary:
The : IFS Technical Analyst will be part of the Global Technology Organization which is responsible to maintain all ADM systems in operation with highest availability. As a member of the Tech Ops Organization, the IFS Technical Analyst will analyze the tickets raised by user(s) and provide response/resolution to the user or work with the concerned teams/ 3rd party providers to resolve the issues as the per the Operational/Service Level Agreement with the business. The individual will also be responsible to work with the user community, architects, developers and testers to build and deliver small enhancements and deliver projects in line with the global template design after alignment with the Solution Delivery organization.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the implementation of IFS Applications in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Configure IFS modules according to business requirements and best practices.
Customize IFS Applications to enhance functionality and user experience.
Provide ongoing technical support to end-users for IFS Applications, resolving issues and answering queries.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot errors, providing effective solutions.
Maintain documentation of system configurations, changes, and user guides.
Collaborate with developers to implement system integrations with other business applications.
Write and maintain SQL queries, scripts, and reports for data extraction and analysis.
Assist in the development of custom reports and dashboards within IFS.
Participate in project planning, execution, and monitoring related to IFS Applications.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and provide solutions.
Ensure system integrity, security, and data accuracy through regular audits and updates.
Work with IT teams to apply patches, upgrades, and migrations as necessary.
Stay up-to-date with the latest IFS features and industry trends.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and propose enhancements to system functionalities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Proven experience as an IFS Technical Analyst or in a similar technical role.
Strong understanding of IFS Applications architecture and modules (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, etc.).
Proficiency in SQL, database management, and data manipulation.
Ability to create/interpret and update:
Complex Oracle SQL statements
IFS Custom Events (Oracle Database Triggers) and the CRIM functionality
PL/SQL packages created by ADM outside of the main ERP solution
Experience with software development and integration techniques.
Familiarity with programming languages (such as Java, .NET, or similar) is a plus.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
IFS certification or relevant technical certifications.
Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
Knowledge of additional ERP systems is a plus.
