Our Business Segment Operations manufactures in 20 plants around the globe with more than 8,000 employees. Our SI EA Operations Subsegment AIS (Air Insulated Switchgear) includes 5 plants in Germany, India, Pakistan, Indonesia, and Turkey.

What part will you play?

We are seeking a highly motivated, dedicated, and experienced Controller (f/m/d) to join our dynamic and diverse team!

  • As SubOp-Controller, you will coordinate the financial planning and analysis process for the factories within the Subsegment AIS, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting on P&L performance. You will also work closely with the financial Subsegment Head and the factory teams to find opportunities and develop action plans to achieve their individual goals.

  • In the monthly FC process, you are the owner of the FC tool summarizing the FC data of all 5 Subsegments and acting as interface towards the BU controlling for the FC submission.

  • In close collaboration with your colleagues and the factories you are creating the profit transition for the Segment Operations on a quarterly basis.

  • Additionally, as member of the Digitalization-community you will promote the digitalization transformation of finance processes across this manufacturing network and within your area of responsibility.

  • In this role, you will be a key contributor in crafting transparency in the financial data and provide analytics enabling the Subsegment and Segment Management to steer the business.

What you need to make real what matters.

  • The basis of your success is a master´s degree in economics with a focus on finance or a similar finance related education.

  • You have many years of work experience in a finance related field and a profound knowledge of the value flows in the manufacturing environment.

  • You have a highly engaged, performance driven personality, strong analytical abilities, good communication skills and like to move out of your comfort zone.

  • You are willing to work as part of a team to get things done and enjoy continuous training.

  • You have very good expertise in MS Office applications and experience with data analytics and visualization tools such as PowerBI.

  • Proficiency in English completes your profile; other languages are a plus.
