Erie Insurance Group Senior IT Analyst in ERIE, Pennsylvania

Erie Indemnity Company d/b/a Erie Insurance seeks a Senior IT Analyst in Erie, PA, responsible for driving transformational change involving new business or technical processes, development and introduction of new vendor partners or providers, or introduction of new technology, and implementing process changes that will impact stakeholders across the organization. Specific duties include: (i) analyzing business, technical system and/or technical problems to determine root cause; (ii) conducting research, generating comparisons, drawing conclusions, making recommendations, and validating solutions to effect transformational change within our Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC); (iii) ensuring actions are aligned to enterprise strategies; (iv) providing insight to assist in business or technical direction by creating roadmaps and strategy deliverables; (v) collaborating across multiple teams to drive analysis management processes (i.e. business analysis, user experience (UX) quality analysis and system analysis); (vi) providing practice, discipline and technical guidance; (vii) developing and maintaining relationships with Chief IT Architect, Chief IT Analyst, Chief IT Engineer and Chief IT Project Manager to ensure consistency across the SDLC; (viii) effectively communicating with customers, team members or other stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes by application benchmarking; (ix) conducting gap analysis for IT insurance product teams for their current state and future state processes; and (x) leading quality deployment processes for IT insurance product teams and leading teams to the execution and implementation of solutions.

This position is located in Erie, PA, and offers a maximum of 52 remote (within the U.S.) workdays per year.

Must have a bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline, plus five (5) years of experience in a related position.

Alternative requirements: an associate's degree (or foreign equivalent), in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline, plus seven (7) years of experience in a related position, or a high school diploma plus nine (9) years of experience in a related position.

The required experience must include: (i) 5 years of experience in building and executing functional test cases; (ii) 5 years of experience delivering IT solutions under the Agile methodology; (iii) 5 years of experience in quality assurance and/or IT team leadership; and (iv) 1 year of experience in PMS (insurance policy management system) delivery and support.  Experience can be concurrent.
