DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a member of our talented nursing staff, you will positively impact the lives of our residents by providing high-quality care and daily interaction. You will assist residents in performing a wide range of activities, such as bathing, grooming, eating, and recreation. Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Part-time employment (40 hours biweekly) Work hours are available on 1st shift (6:45 AM - 3:15 PM) with a 30-minute lunch. You will work a rotating schedule, including every other weekend. Overtime will be required as needed. You will receive further communication regarding this position via email. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Active registration as a Nurse Aide in the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Registry; or Six months of paid experience in the care and treatment of geriatric or physically ill patients or residents.
Special Requirement:
This position is assigned to a long-term or specialized care facility and requires active registration as a Nurse Aide in the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Registry.
Additional Requirement: You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements: A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination. This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act. Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
