Job title: Senior Technician High Power - Industrial & Automotive Gate Drivers
Reports to: Laboratory Manager High Power - Industrial & Automotive Gate Drivers
Objective of the role: Technical Support Function
Main Responsibilities:
Circuit design of gate drivers including selection and evaluation of suitable components
Layout of printed circuit boards including compilation of related production data for external manufacturing partners
Low and high voltage evaluation of gate driver designs
General Responsibilities:
Technical support towards System Engineering
Set-Up and maintenance of the test lab facility
Giving trainings about the behavior in the test lab for guests and internal customers
Education and work experience:
Qualified job degree as technician in the field of electrical engineering or other technical background
6+ years' relevant experience
Professional expertise:
Experience in assembly and setting-up power electronic circuits especially related to gate drivers and inverter systems.
Experience in circuit design and layout of printed circuit boards with CAD systems like for instance Altium Designer
Experience in mechanical design with CAD systems like for instance Alibre .
Soft skills:
Proven capability in handling projects and being effective while interfacing with different team members and teams.
Good command of spoken and written English
