Description
We are seeking an Accounting Analyst to join our client's team located in Enon, Ohio. The primary responsibility of the Accounting Analyst is to ensure precise processing and maintenance of records, as well as monitoring and resolving store inquiries. Responsibilities:
• Review balances and process adjustments, ensuring precise and efficient processing of credit applications
• Maintaining accurate records of transactions, purchases, sales, transfers and adjustments
• Research and resolve store operator and field operation inquiries
• Investigating discrepancies in daily cash reports from different systems
• Taking necessary corrective actions upon finding any discrepancies in the system
• Seeking approval from relevant authorities for major discrepancies
• Utilizing Excel skills for data analysis, including VLOOKUP's, pivot tables, if/then statements, and general formulas
• Analyzing trends and variances to identify root causes
• Being proactive and organized in keeping track of already investigated issues
• Utilizing Accounting Software Systems and ERP solutions for efficient work processes
• Handling accounts payable, auditing tasks and Ad-hoc duties, as needed
• Participating in budget processes and ensuring adherence to budget guidelines.
Requirements
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software systems
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Analytical skills and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and identify trends.
• Experience with ERP systems is necessary for optimizing business operations and improving efficiency.
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• A strong understanding of Accounting Functions is crucial for maintaining financial records and ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is required to manage the company's financial obligations effectively.
• Auditing skills are necessary to verify financial information accuracy and detect any discrepancies.
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles ++
