Job Duties

Develop and execute software tests to identify software problems and their causes. Develop and implement test scenarios and automate test scripts for applications. Design and maintain test data, cases, and scripts for projects. Create automated test scripts, feature files, and step definition during phases of ATDD, AUT, and BDD. Write queries to ensure data integrity and

software accuracy. Create test cases, track execution, document and prioritize test scenarios, identify, log, and track defects, and record results using. Solve complex problems related to interconnected software components. Create API test plans, test cases, and test reports, and work with development teams to ensure the API design meets the requirements. Analyze, extract, and modify SQL Procedures, files, and AWS logs. Track issues and monitor bugs. Verify enhancements, features, and bug fixes function according to requirements and user needs before software release and during certification to ensure quality.

Position allows for 100% telecommuting. Position reports to company HQ in Englewood, CO.

The base pay range for this position in Denver, CO is $97,157.00- $107,157.00 per year plus standard company benefits.

Job Requirements

Position requires a bachelor's degree in computer science or related field and 3 years of experience in a related occupation.

Must include some experience in each of the following:

  1. Automation Testing using Java (cucumber), Python, JavaScript, and Linux.HTML.

  2. Query creation, execution, and maintenance using SQL Server and Scripts.

  3. API Testing with Postman, Swagger, Rest Assured, and Soap UI.

  4. Programming and Scripting Languages (C#, Java, Groovy, Shell, Python, and JavaScript).

  5. Testing Frameworks using Junit, TestNg, NUnit, Cucumber, and Mocha.

  6. Continuous integration with Jenkins, AWS, and Azure.

  7. Agile Methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Jira, and Zephyr).
