Job Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain Windows Server environments, including installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades
Monitor server performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to optimize performance and minimize downtime
Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and other core services
Perform backup and disaster recovery operations, ensuring data integrity and availability
Collaborate with security teams to implement and maintain security policies and procedures, including patch management and vulnerability remediation
Configure and maintain virtualization platforms (e.g., Hyper-V, VMware) to support server infrastructure
Work with storage and networking teams to ensure system integration and stability
Provide technical support for escalated issues and work with teams to resolve incidents promptly
Automate routine tasks using scripting tools such as PowerShell
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards
Create and maintain documentation for systems, configurations, processes, and procedures
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in Windows Server administration or engineering
Skills and Qualifications:
Expertise in managing Windows Server versions 2016, 2019, and/or 2022
Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and core services (DNS, DHCP, etc.)
Experience with virtualization platforms like Hyper-V or VMware
Familiarity with storage technologies (SAN, NAS) and networking concepts
Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and management tasks
Understanding of security best practices and experience implementing server hardening measures
Experience with patch management, monitoring tools, and disaster recovery
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues independently
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, VMware VCP) are a plus
Salary Ranges
Compensation: $110,100.00/Year - $157,300.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
