Job Summary:A working field supervisor or lead in charge of a group of workers who perform production work or other work unrelated to supervisory duties. Essential Job Functions: * Attend monthly filed leader training meetings held by the General superintendent or General Manager * Position is where you must always present a clean, professional appearance to our customers. You will be providing services at city and county schools, government facilities and private companies. * Follow PI s Safety Manual and OSHA regulations. * Obtain verified field dimensions if needed with the Project Manager for use in releasing material. * Reviewing each building/floor for installation readiness two weeks prior to installation start date. Information to be provided to PM. Look for: Electrical, mechanical, plumbing, wall locations, rough-ins complete. Walls primed or finish painted, or wall coverings installed. Ceiling grid or hard ceiling installed at correct height. Floor covering in place as required. Rooms/area cleaned up from previous trades and ready for H2I / PI materials to be distributed and installed.

  • Work with Supervisor to determine anchorage method for all products using approved submittals/contract details prior to installation start-up.
  • Review Labor Cost to Complete with Supervisor to improve efficiency and cut down time/costs of installation wherever possible.
  • Use the PM provided Material Status Report (MSR) for installations and to plan for deliveries.
  • Make a log of project problems noting any special occurrences on an Outstanding Issue Log. (OIL)
  • Plan or supervise unloads, (manpower and equipment). Supervise distribution of materials to the proper installation location and all the pieces are in he room ready to be installed so the installer does not look for items.
  • Prepare a floor plan on paper showing where each major piece of equipment is sored in the building and keep updated.
  • Being proactive by ordering expendables, installation materials for our project; weekly not daily.
  • Tape Casework elevation drawings to wall at each elevation so installer has proper drawing to work from.
  • Coordinate with onsite trades as required.
  • Use tablets or computer for plans, drawings, Outstanding Issue Log (OIL), daily reports and timecards.
  • Manage timecards inputs for all field personnel on your project insuring they are signed into the right project and correct work group code.
  • Train carpenters and laborers in H2I / PI material handling methods.
  • Refer and adhere to the Performance Installations QA-QC Standards.
  • Set and maintain high quality standards with all installers and carpenters.
  • Maintain the standard that every task is finished 100% whenever possible; doors, drawers adjusted, all fillers, blind fillers, caulking, HRDW is installed. The area and our work must be clean, tape, shipping labels removed, shims cut, and all debris is removed, and area is swep
  • Organize, protect and maintain materials to be installed and that are installed at the jobsite.
  • All H2I / PI tools and materials are to be secured / locked up at the end of each workday.
  • Attend customer s weekly job meetings.
  • Notify the customer as required prior to receipt of any major delivers and arrange for staging on-site.
  • Fill out and turn in daily reports to H2I / PI Field Reports to PM with a copy to PI Supervisor.
  • Oversee trash pickup and removal of H2I / PI materials from building, daily.
  • Determine and sign-out of all power tools, specialty tools and expendable materials for each installer.
  • Insure all H2I/PI equipment is secured/locked/chained up at the end of each workday.
  • Walk the installation area that is in progress updating completion list for work completed.
  • Complete each project on time, within Labor Cost Budget and satisfy the Customer.
  • Conduct daily/weekly HH toolbox talks, topics pertain to issues on job or conditions specific job that expose workers to potential dangers.
  • Practice, teach and promote safely all day, every day.

Qualifications: * Must be punctual, presentable, professional * Ability to read and interpret blueprints * Ability to communicate with supervisors * Position requires a valid driver s license to check into schools and job sites or obtain badges * Experience in laboratory equipment, architectural millwork or athletic equipment * Ability to read blueprints * Ability to work with minimal supervision

Physical Requirements: * While This potion requires occasional projects that are further than 50 miles from our regional office * This position may require overnight stays for 1-10 nights on project 120 miles from our office. * Must be able to lift 50 lbs. * Position requires the applicant to climb and work off scaffold or work in electric scissor lifts. * Positions requires standing, kneeling, crawling, climbing, stretching, and sitting. * Stand or walk for 8+ hours * Must have ability to lift both arms overhead * Arm, hand & finger dexterity with box hands involved in activities such
