Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a full-time Early Career Financial Analyst. This is an opportunity to join the Space Finance & Business Operations (F&BO) team supporting the Mk7 program as well as other finance tasks across various efforts. This offers exposure to multiple areas within the Strategic & Missile Defense portfolio with career growth opportunities.

The successful candidate will learn and support Earned Value Management (EVM) activities in a dynamic environment requiring the ability to take direction with potential to work independently and partner with program leads to positively resolve issues.

Specific duties include (but not limited to):

- Support Finance Lead(s) in Baseline establishment and maintenance, EVM performance and EAC/ETC analysis, and various other Ad Hoc requests

- Work within Finance Lead and Planning to support accurate EVM data and cost / schedule integration

- Support development and timely communication of risks and opportunities

- Support development of monthly CDRLs, including internal and external reviews (Weekly Expense Reporting, Invoicing)

- Support development of common processes and reports to support Integrated Product Teams (IPTs)

- Support Program Management Reviews, internal and external surveillance reviews, Integrated Baseline Reviews, prepare management presentations, and other Ad Hoc requests

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business/Finance/Accounting or related discipline

- Experience with Microsoft Office suite of software tools, Microsoft Excel in particular

- Understanding basic financial concepts such as cost accumulation, profit and loss calculations, financial statements

- Experience with public speaking and excellent communication skills

- Experience with working on a team or group project

- Quick learner with aptitude for various systems and processes

- Ability to balance competing priorities and meet deadlines

Desired Skills:

- Prior related internship or college work experience program

- Prior work experience in any field, demonstrating success in the workforce

- Ability and desire to collaborate both virtually and in office on a weekly basis

- Ability to work efficiently and independently with limited direction from management

- Aptitude to facilitate results, self-starter attitude, process-oriented, structured problem solver

- Ability to build relationships and interact with external customers

- Robust data acumen and familiarity with modern data, reporting, and automation tools (Tableau, Power BI, SQL, etc)

- Experience with Cost Control systems (Cobra, SAP, ERP)

- Experience creating and maintaining complex Incentive Plans including Performance and Cost/Schedule based

- Ability to obtain a top secret security clearance

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $47,800 - $91,500. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
