Department Summary
The Customer Retention Department blends marketing, operations, strategy, and analytics. Within Video Services, this team is highly visible to the Executive Leadership and drives initiatives to retain and monetize DISH’s customer base, including DISH and Sling brands. Our mission is to enhance customer loyalty by improving their experience and engagement.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Join our team as a Data Analyst focusing on Loyalty for Video Services, where you'll play a vital role in shaping the future of customer experience for SLING. We’re looking for a data-driven analyst with a strategic mindset who can turn complex data insights into actionable initiatives that foster customer loyalty and enhance our bottom line.
Role & Responsibilities:
Use data insights to drive initiatives and offers that strengthen customer loyalty within an evolving content delivery ecosystem.
Develop and leverage financial models to inform strategic decisions, guiding business initiatives to maximize the video services bottom line.
Analyze industry trends to inform new retention strategies and support overall business direction.
Spearhead AI/ML-driven initiatives focused on reducing churn and enhancing operational efficiencies.
Lead projects to advance operational automation by integrating innovative technology solutions.
Effectively communicate complex data-driven recommendations to stakeholders, including SVP-level executives.
Build strong internal partnerships to manage the implementation of operational tactics.
Use SQL, advanced analytics, and creative modeling to serve as a key consultant to the business, influencing strategic decisions.
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree (4-year) in a field demonstrating logical thinking.
Minimum of 4 years in a data-driven analytics or strategic role.
Master’s degree in a relevant field is a plus.
Skills & Competencies:
Proven expertise in SQL, Tableau, and Excel for developing analytic models and dynamic reports that guide business direction.
Experience with financial modeling and forecasting for project-based decision-making.
Ability to work effectively with large datasets.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey data insights into meaningful narratives for both peer and executive audiences.
Excellent project and time management skills; adept at managing multiple projects concurrently.
Salary Ranges
Compensation: $72,350.00/Year - $103,400.00/Year
