We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Vice President of HRIS, Engineering Systems to lead our HR technology initiatives, focusing primarily on the development of our SAP SuccessFactors, SAP HCM, and SAP Payroll on-premise applications. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in HRIS application development, implementation, and maintenance, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory compliance. This role is crucial for driving Engineering innovation within the organization through well-managed projects and enhancements, ensuring that all standards are clearly defined and rigorously followed. The position reports directly to the SVP Engineering, Enterprise Applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the strategy, development, and implementation of HR technology solutions, surrounding SAP SuccessFactors, SAP HCM/Payroll and other legacy HR systems.

  • Lead a team of HRIS Engineering professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the effective delivery of projects and services.

  • Collaborate with HR, IT, and business leaders to align HRIS capabilities with organizational needs, enhancing user experience and operational efficiency.

  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for Software and professional services.

  • Drive innovation in HR technology, staying abreast of industry trends and best practices to continually improve systems and processes.

  • Develop and manage the HRIS Engineering budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.

  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the Corporate Technology organization, partnering with other leaders to align on a unified architecture strategy.

  • Ensure the SAP HCM systems are compliant with global and local regulatory requirements, particularly regarding data security and employee privacy.

  • Oversee the integration of SAP HCM with other enterprise systems, ensuring seamless data flow and process efficiency leveraging SAP’s Business Technology Platform.

  • Drive the roadmap for SAP HCM enhancements, leveraging the latest technologies and industry best practices supporting clean core development methodologies.

  • Attract, retain, and develop highly talented and motivated team.

  • Cultivate a bench of leadership and talent to deliver results and support future growth.

  • Oversee people processes and programs across the team to ensure talent for current and future needs by providing functional and technical leadership.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience as Senior consultant and/or management role in more than 8 projects. 15+ years SAP hands-on experience. Knowledge in various SAP modules and Integration development working on large-scale SAP projects.

  • 10+ years experience in software design, development and implementation of new functionalities and enhancements to Business systems. 2+ years SAP BTP experience preferred.

  • Extensive experience in HRIS application management, with a focus on SAP SuccessFactors, SAP HCM, and SAP Payroll on-premise systems.

  • Strong experience in SAP Technical & functional knowledge of SAP products and various solution offerings including project estimation, staffing and other solutioning.

  • Experience in transformation projects e.g., from SAP ECC to S/4 HANA (S/4 Conversions, green field, brown field etc.)

  • Must have experience in delivering solutions to leverage standard SAP S/4 HANA, ECC, BTP functionality and how to enable requirements while maximizing the ROI.

Desired Characteristics:

  • Strong understanding of HR business processes, data analytics, and system integration.

  • Ability to manage complex projects and prioritize in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

  • Education focus degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering or related discipline with an information technology focus, or an equivalent combination of education and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job. MBA highly preferred.

  • Experience utilizing tools and techniques to effect business change and develop efficient and effective solutions to diverse and complex business problems.

  • Project management experience that involves conceptualizing, organizing, planning, and executing large-scale, high dollar and high-risk projects from vision through implementation, with diverse stakeholders such as business unit/division, contractors, and vendors, etc. Ability to manage technical architecture analysis, design and integrations

  • Worked in a Global environment at a leadership level and demonstrated growth and achievement.

  • This position requires business knowledge involving direct interaction with application owners, and hands-on architecture design expertise of SAP S/4 HANA and BTP.

  • Balanced approach that aligns technology-based solutions with customer needs.

  • Broad knowledge of SAP product portfolio and SAP roadmap

  • Excellent Solution designing skills identifying the proper target system technology (private / public Cloud, on Premise)

  • Proven leadership experience, with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.

  • Good oral, written, presentation and interpersonal communications skills; ability to effectively interact with internal and external customer and team members

  • Ability to work effectively in a diverse work group, ability to exercise good judgment, problem solving ability and resourcefulness in the absence of formalized guidelines and procedures.

  • Ability to perform in a high- pressure environment and/or crisis situation, while maintaining safety and ensure adherence to Corporate Code of Conduct and interpret and follow written or oral instructions, set priorities, handle multiple tasks with concentration speed and accuracy to meet deadlines

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills. Positive, self-motivated and an exceptional desire to win. Superior people skills: team-oriented, fast learner and personable understanding of business requirements and functionality

  • Strong understanding of integrated business management systems. Ability to quickly identify and analyze technical risks & impacts and define alternatives & prioritizations to remove technical roadblocks. Ability to manage multiple deliverables independently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Highly motivated self-starter.

  • Ability to act as an advisor on professional and technical issues with a view towards reaching decisions.

Salary range: $250,000 - $325,000 (bonus and long-term incentive eligible)
