Cardiovascular & Specialty Solutions Group (CSS) is a collection of high-growth Johnson & Johnson's MedTech businesses: Biosense Webster, CERENOVUS and Mentor. In the EMEA region, this business represents approximately $1Bn in sales.

Job purpose

The Regional Office Senior financial analyst will manage the CSS Regional office focusing on OPEX management and Technical Services. This role will partner closely with senior CSS regional leaders and will provide end to end transparency to the EMEA CSS VP and leadership team.

This position will require intense business partnering and using data and analytics to effectively influence and shape business decisions supporting both short and long-term strategies. A second key component of this role is supporting the Tech Services organization for Biosense Webster, our Electrophysiology business. The tech service area is currently undergoing a transformation which requires the need of setting up new E2E processes.

We’re looking for a Dynamic Senior financial analyst able to take ownership of the end to end process, challenge the status quo, and drive strong process improvements that ensure transparency in both the OPEX and Tech Services business.

Main responsibilities

Regional Office Analyst CSS EMEA (50%)

  • Provide high quality business partnering support to the EMEA CSS Regional Organization

  • Review Functional Budgets and Forecasts together with Business Partners and provide insights into actual results and business performance.

  • Present Quarterly Management Review packs with insightful comments to Leadership Teams

  • Collaborate with Functional Teams to see opportunities for savings to reinvest in priority projects.

  • Act as a team player with the broader HMT Reginal office teams focusing on standardization and cross collaboration to improve efficiencies.

  • Play an active role in the EMEA Planning cycles with close collaboration with the commercial teams.

  • Any other ad-hoc activities & projects

Biosense Webster Technical Service Project & Business partnering (50%):

  • Management of End-to-end EMEA Tech Services budget $20MM

  • Act as Finance lead in Transformation project with strong focus on compliance.

  • Business partner and support the Tech services EMEA organization of 40 people helping in execution of this critical service to the hospitals.

  • Collaborate with all EMEA CSS country controllers, the CSS Regional office team, HMT Regional office as well as Global Tech services team to drive for clear transparency in this complex area.

  • Provide strong financial leadership & analysis of new business opportunities & other key projects. Partner with Business to track execution of these within country & ensure ongoing monitoring.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree in Finance or Economics

  • CMA, CPA and/or MBA are considered an asset

Experience and Skills:

  • Excellent communication & business partnering skills in global matrixed organization.

  • Strong technical and analytical skills.

  • Familiarity with J&J ERP and reporting systems (SAP, BI, TM1).

  • Experience with advanced analytics tools (Alteryx, Tableau, MS Flows) is considered an asset.

  • Attention to detail and first-time-right mentality.

  • 3 years finance/accounting experience, including business planning, reporting, and analysis, is preferred, however, other relevant working experiences and skills may be considered
