1. Position Description

Johnson & Johnson Finance Corporation (JJFC), a Treasury division is Johnson & Johnson’s captive leasing company providing guidance to all affiliates in support of leasing and credit decisions to affiliate customers requiring innovative solutions to facilitate capital equipment purchases.

The Senior Finance Analyst will collaborate with a friendly diverse team to ensure accurate and compliant financial transactions, Fixed Asset & Lease accounting, and forecasting for the UK Entity, following Johnson & Johnson guidelines. Leadership skills are essential to lead a team and establish strong networks/partnerships, while maintaining positive relationships with various Business Partners. This role includes managing an FLDP.

The UK MRC as a company has four core main business streams. These are collaborating with the MedTech organisation to support financing for the sale/leasing of medical equipment etc.; the purchasing, leasing, and sale of cars for the UK fleet, management of investment properties used by the group companies. Additionally, the management of the UK holding company for J&J Group affiliates with regular dividend flows up to Corporate.

1. Main Responsibilities

The Senior Finance Analyst will be responsible for the following:

  • Ensuring timely and accurate monthly close activities and financial forecasts across P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and Tax, including analysis and reporting for UK MRC and communicating insights and results to Management.

  • Providing clear direction, leadership, and coaching to direct reports. Cultivating an environment of inclusion, collaboration, and innovation.

  • Establishing and managing relationships with key business partners to be seen as a key point of contact and proactively working to support the MedTech organisation achieve strong business results through compliant leasing solutions.

  • Taking proactive leadership in external statutory audits, collaborating with GS LE, PWC, CTC, and Deloitte.

  • Co-leading with GS LE team the annual impairment review for J&J Management Ltd, collaborating internally across global & regional BUF & CTC, as well as externally with EY, PWC.

  • Leading, or actively participating in, global standardization and optimization initiatives and projects, including Signifi.

  • Taking proactive involvement and leadership on the Investment Property project and co-leading the External Medical leasing activity and project.

  • Ensuring strong internal controls are in place to achieve 'adequate' internal and external audit ratings. Proactively contributing to ensuring and improving a strong internal control environment.

  • Providing ad-hoc Reporting & Analytics.

  • Taking ownership for personal and team development, ensuring a positive work/life balance.

Qualifications

1. Knowledge / Experience / Skills required

The ideal candidate for the Senior Finance Analyst position will have the following qualifications:

  • Qualified with professional Accountancy body (e.g. CIMA, ACCA) with post-qualified experience.

  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills, with an ability to influence people at all levels.

  • Highly motivated and proactive.

  • Experience of SAP, TM1 & Microsoft Office.

  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively as part of a team, taking the lead as appropriate.

  • Methodical approach with strong planning and prioritization skills, as well as attention to detail.

  • Challenge the status quo and a continuous improvement attitude.

  • Agility to manage several priorities, working to strict timelines.

  • Ability to thrive in a multi-cultural, cross-functional environment across all layers of the business.

  • Demonstrate integrity and ethical behavior in all areas of responsibility and act as a role model for J&J Credo values.
