Robert Half Management Resources is recruiting for a Manager of Accounts Receivable who brings relevant industry experience within professional services to support a 1–2-month long hybrid engagement in Encino, CA beginning immediately. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient operations throughout the entire accounts receivable process.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all operational aspects of the Accounts Receivable function.

• Understand the complexities of billable time and its importance in revenue generation for professional service industries.

• Streamline billing and collections processes, introducing improvements that will maximize efficiency and productivity.

• Develop and implement a robust internal reporting system for better visibility into billing and other related operations, enabling timely and informative decision-making.

• Ensure alignment of the accounts receivable function with the broader goals of the finance department.

• Coach and develop a team of accounts receivable professionals, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement.

• Regularly review client contracts and arrangements to ensure proper billing and recognition of revenue.

• Establish strong relationships with other department leaders to ensure smooth billing processes and resolve any related issues.

  Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. An advanced degree or relevant certifications such as CPA is a plus.

• Extensive previous experience in Accounts Receivable management, preferably within professional service firms.

• Proven ability to develop and optimize accounts receivable processes.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles, especially as they relate to billable time.

• Excellent leadership and team management skills.

• High proficiency with finance software and IT systems.
