Position Title: Radiographer / CT Technologist. MRI skills are an additional advantage

Position Summary:Valor Health is a 16 bed Critical Access Hospital located in Emmett, Idaho that provides Emergency Services, Urgent Care, Family Medicine, Pre- and Post-natal care, Infusion, Swing Bed and Surgical Services including, Podiatry, Orthopedic and General Surgeries. As an X-Ray/CT Technologist you will perform procedures on patients of all ages, according to approved protocols, radiation safety and established exam protocols. Evaluate the appropriateness of requested exams to assist Radiologists and referring Providers. Maintain knowledge of equipment, instruments & supplies pertinent to high quality exams. Job position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strengths must include strong customer service skills and the ability to multitask while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Applicants should possess a positive, professional attitude and excellent communication skills. Valor Health expects personnel to be willing to cross train to meet the needs or the organization.
Requirements
Experience with the following equipment and software is preferred:
DR Carestream, Toshiba and Shimadzu X-Ray
Toshiba Aquilion 128 slice (CT), OEC 9900 Elite
Cerner (EMR), DR systems, NovaPACS
Position Qualifications/Requirements:
Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) with Associates degree in Radiology or higher.
Registered in Computed Tomography (CT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
Preferred experience of two years in a Hospital setting.
American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider (BLS/HCP) certification required
Working Environment – General Patient Care Environment
Standing for long periods, lift or turn patients, bending, twisting and sitting
