Resideo Process Engineer (m/f) in EMMEN, Netherlands
The Process Engineer is responsible for delivering process and quality improvements within the manufacturing plant, including but not limited to our high pressure (aluminium) moulding process.
Utilising a data driven approach, you will formulate and install standards based on comparative studies and establish "best in class" production processes for all products. You will develop and implement new process steps, provide training to operators, and work on continuous improvement of processes and production activities.
In addition, you will provide guidance and communication to other departments, such as Part Manufacturing, Quality and Technical Services, creating a work environment conducive to safety objectives. In this role, you will be responsible for quality process improvements and manufacturing activities for Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory and Cost (SQDIC).
JOB DUTIES:
Quality - you will provide oversight and technical support in Tier meetings
You will make initial analysis and separation of all product rejects and inform relevant management and technical support daily in Tier meetings
Continuous Improvement – Look for opportunities and take action to continuously improve processes and lead projects
Encourage that quality is built into each step of the production processes
Training - manage all training activities for the implementation of new projects into production
Communication - communicate closely with team leaders and technical functions to resolve ongoing issues and drive continuous improvements on machine or component issues
Equipment/Machines - ensure close involvement in TPM plans and support implementation
Training - ensures required training that is important to the processes for leadership and teams
Safety/Environment - responsible for the safety of the process
Budget - establishing and monitoring the approved project budget
YOU MUST HAVE:
3+ years of experience in improving production and process flows to achieve efficiency, cost savings and quality improvements
Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex technical problems independently and identify and correct process errors
A methodical, structured way of working, ability to work in a team and, in addition, a high degree of commitment and flexibility, initiative and likes to work in an international team.
Experience in a comparable field of activity
Fluent in Dutch and English

Experience in die casting is a plus (desirable not essential)
Six Sigma knowledge (desirable not essential)
Experience identifying process changes
Experience working on projects with "business level" impact
Ability to accurately identify patterns to solve problems
