Description
We are on the lookout for a proficient Cost Controlling Manager to join our team based in Emeryville, California. As a Cost Controlling Manager, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of handling various financial and accounting functions, utilizing your skills in CRM, 3M, Concur, and Crystal Reports amongst others. You will play a crucial role in managing budgets, auditing, and employing data mining techniques for efficient operations.
Responsibilities:
Role involves financial planning and analysis
Preparation of monthly industrial financial reports
Coordination of annual budget and mid-year forecasts
Assuring reasonability of industrial divisional budgets
Subject Matter Expert for cost controlling team
Support on division-wide initiatives and projects
Providing ad-hoc financial support to management teams
Collaboration with affiliates impacting Diagnostics, such as production volume updates
Assistance in manufacturing & quality financial planning
Validation of forecast information accuracy in global reporting modules
Analysis of financial results vs annual budget for Industrial management
Ensuring accuracy of Master Data related to cost controlling
Identification and implementation of efficiencies in financial data reporting
Working with IT teams to ensure system configuration aligns with business structure
Active participation in global Industrial Finance meetings
Aimed to improve quality of support provided by Dx Industrial Finance
Requirements
Minimum of 8 years of experience in Finance or Cost Accounting
Knowledge and experience in using SAP software
Background in cost accounting and inventory management
Prior experience in working with internal customers
Highly motivated individual with a curious nature
Solid analytical and presentation skills required
Strong financial planning and organizational skills necessary
Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
Excellent interpersonal skills are essential
Should have the ability to challenge business partners
Educational qualification of MBA or Master's Degree in Finance; If not, respective professional experience can be considered.
