Job Details Level Entry Job Location Elyria, OH 44035 - VSI - Elyria, OH Education Level Not Specified   Salary Range $12.00 - $12.00 Hourly Job Shift 7:00am - 3:30pm Description Location: 359 Lowell St. Elyria, OH Shift: Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. FLSA: Nonexempt This position requires physical dexterity, continuous physical activity, and the ability to safely work in a fast-paced environment The general laborer will be responsible for completing the following job duties: Assembly, inspection, sorting, packaging, housekeeping, and any other duties as deemed necessary by the supervisor. Some assignments include painting nozzles and engraving Maintains a clean work area. This includes putting things away at the end of the day and/or when the job is complete such as tools, parts, etc. Regular attendance. Responsible for following agency safety policies and maintaining a safe work environment. Maintains a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that gets along with customers, clients, program participants, co-workers and supervisors. Load, unload, and move materials. Performs various physical duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma/GED required. No prior experience or training. Ability to stand for extended periods. Be able to lift up to 55lbs. Strong attention to detail and ability to perform physical labor. Ability to stand, squat, climb, bend, kneel, stoop, walk, push, pull, crouch and crawl for long periods of time. Works safely so as not to cause injury to yourself or others.
