Shifts: 4p-12a and 12a-8p
Mostly need evenings and nights (Days are mostly covered)
In this role you would be responsible for performing ultrasound examinations, including special procedures to assist medical staff in the diagnosis and assessment of patients.
Requirements:
Completion of a Sonography or Ultrasound training program from an accredited school.
Valid certification in Sonography issued by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Preparing patients : Prepares patients for scans by taking their medical history, answering questions, and explaining the procedure.
Operating equipment : Uses sonographic scanners to capture images of a patient's internal organs. Assists in the conduct of specialized tests and studies.
Analyzing images : Selects the best images to document and analyze.
Communicating with physicians : Maintains regular contact with physicians and other health care personnel by providing information regarding the nature, scheduling, or results of procedures performed within the Ultrasound Department.
Maintaining patient records : They keep a patient's medical history on file and may send it to other healthcare providers.
Caring for equipment : They prepare and maintain the diagnostic imaging equipment.
Educating other personnel : Assists in training programs in ultrasonography and instructs other appropriate technical personnel on technical aspects of their routine use.

The salary range for this position is $76,063-$76,063/year
