Description We are offering a long-term contract opportunity for a Full Charge Bookkeeper in Elmhurst, Illinois, in the Wholesale Distribution industry. The role includes handling different facets of accounting, payroll, and administrative tasks for a small and rapidly growing company. You will have a hands-on role, managing bookkeeping for the main company and two small subsidiaries.

Responsibilities:

• Processing full-charge bookkeeping for the main company and two small subsidiaries.

• Managing Accounts Payable/Receivable, Billing, and Invoicing.

• Conducting bank and general ledger reconciliations.

• Processing credit card transactions and reconciliations.

• Managing collections, cash applications, and cash flow.

• Processing payroll and managing taxes.

• Handling 1099s/1098s, IL Sales and Use Tax (ST1), and month-end close.

• Preparing journal entries and financial statements.

• Administering HR onboarding and benefits administration (insurance, 401K).

• Assisting with office management, ad hoc reporting, and special projects.

• Ensuring accurate inventory reconciliation.

• Managing commissions, PTO, and employee benefits. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services

• Familiarity with Computerized Accounting System

• Knowledge of Great Plains (GPAC)

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Ability to perform all Accounting Functions

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Ability to assist with the Annual Budget

• Proficiency in Cash Flow Analysis
