The Receiving Clerk is responsible for the entire receiving operation. This includes the aspects of receiving schedule, offsite-receiving activities, entering receipts into systems both internal and external to the company. This job function needs to have a thorough understanding of receiving controls and inventory systems and past experience within MRP/Receiving environment.
Education/Prerequisite Requirements:
Previous Experience with Receiving
MRP system, inventory control system experience
Willingness to take on new projects and support organization initiatives.
Equipment/Training Knowledge:
Basic Computer knowledge
Schedule: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Monday thru Friday – Some flexibility around these hours as workflow dictates or is needed.
Work Specifications – Responsibilities:
Knowledge of Receiving including arranging delivery appointments, delivery locations,
Assist in Management of inventory levels through strong communication
Refine Raw Material Tagging Process through interaction with Information Technology.
Enter Receipts into Protean
Maintain organized receipt record keeping system
Verify Bill of Materials with respect to how it compares to physical receipts.
