Landscape Laborer - 6 fulltime, temporary, seasonal (H-2B) jobs available 04/01/2025 - 12/01/2025.
Employer: Seasonal Landscaping & Nursery, Inc. 1120 Bullis Road, Elma, NY 14059.
Duties: Landscape or maintain properties using tools or equipment. Tasks may include planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, sprinkler installation, seeding, mulching, sod laying, hauling & spreading topsoil & installation of mortarless segmental concrete masonry wall units. Must be able to lift 50 pounds, and work in adverse weather conditions.
Travel to project locations in the Erie and Niagara Counties from designated location: 1120 Bullis Road, Elma, NY 14059.
No education required or experience required. Random drug testing post-hire at employer's expense for all workers.
Work Hours: Mon-Fri 7am-5pm, 40 hours/week. Hours may fluctuate due to weather. 40 hours at $19.80/hour, OT varies at $29.70/hour. Bonuses, raises, and extra compensation may be offered at discretion of employer based on performance, skill, tenure.
Employer will assist workers with securing housing, but employer will not provide housing.
A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Workers will be paid weekly on Wednesday. All deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law will be made.
Employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job.
H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees).
Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if the worker completes half the employment period. Return transportation will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer. Return transportation and subsistence will be provided back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence rates are $15.88/day without receipts or up to $59/day with receipts.
