This position directs and provides leadership over the Company's Consumer sales strategy and programs. Manage and direct team initiatives in alignment with company goals. Establish and ensure best practices within scope of responsibility. Responsibilities Create and implement reseller consumer (SFU and MDU) sales programs Oversee the consumer channel MDU and SMB new acquisition and account executives, including sales strategy, sales tactics and initiatives Manage relationship with third party resellers selling through events, door-to-door, community engagement selling activities, etc. Collaborate with the Company's executive, senior and middle management to develop and support its long-term strategic growth plan Collaborate to develop the channel's annual budget; work within approved budget; develop and implement cost saving measures Develop and implement strategic sales forecasting activities and plans to accommodate the Company's goals Review market analyses to determine needs, price schedules and discount rates Partner with consumer product and marketing team to drive the needs of the SMB and MDU channel Direct channel development activity and coordinate sales distribution; establish sales territories, quotas and goals Prepare periodic sales reports; show sales volume, potential sales and areas of proposed client base expansion Develop and implement sales and marketing plans to meet overall Company objectives and generate revenue growth Conduct analysis and provide metrics reports and daily sales and marketing status updates to the management team Develops standards for qualifying new leads and requesting site surveys to determine serviceability of prospects, including submission of ROI analysis Maintain thorough understanding of company service offerings Oversee contract terms with outside agencies, vendors and suppliers for sales related activities Achieve or exceed assign installation budget Qualifications 10+ years related experience preferred, MDU and SMB channel experience is a strong plus Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of applicable education and experience required; MBA or related graduate degree preferred Demonstrated sales management experience (at least 5-6 years) in telecommunications sales and sales leadership experience 3-5 years business/financial background Exceptional strategic planning, account management and contract negotiations skills required. Experience in consultative sales techniques and account planning. A clear track record for consistently exceeding revenue goals.
