The Director, Transformation Office is tasked with fostering collaboration and innovation to formulate strategies and initiatives for business process, digital, technology, and organizational transformation. This aims to enhance organizational value optimization, efficiency, effectiveness, and cost reduction. Additionally, the role involves establishing credible partnerships across business functions, stakeholders, and Information Technology (IT) to realize the intended value propositions of strategic initiatives. The scope of the Transformation Office is extensive and encompasses cross-functional aspects throughout all levels of the organization. It is crucial to define priority opportunities with significant organizational impact within manageable levels of investment, yielding optimal returns. The Director, Transformation Office must rapidly grasp the internal organizational functions and processes while also surveying external ecosystems to identify potential technology, resources, or vendors to complement, innovate, and add value to strategic initiatives. Responsibilities Responsibilities include driving program and project management for initiatives, developing strategic plans, assembling cross-functional resources, engaging with external vendors as needed, managing communications and change management plans, constructing complex project plans, and executing them with efficiency, low cost, and high adoption and success rates. Key Performance Areas: Team Development/Leadership Oversee, direct, and organize project work within cross-functional project teams supporting initiatives across the organization. Foster a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and innovation that values learning and commitment to quality. Ensure project team members, although not direct reports, receive timely and appropriate feedback, training, and development in coordination with staff line managers. Support the capacity-building of staff engaged in initiatives to ensure they possess sufficient capability and capacity to adopt and realize change. Mentor and develop staff using a supportive and collaborative approach involved in initiatives. Qualifications This role requires a dynamic individual with a proven ability to deliver results in a demanding and fast-paced environment. Applicants should have: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Human Resources, International Development, or a related field. A minimum of 10 years of experience within a Transformation Office, PMO, or consulting practice. Knowledge or expertise in IT systems, technology, SaaS platforms, enterprise software, and end-user devices. A proven track record of successfully implementing business transformation and digital initiatives on an enterprise-wide scale. A strong, positive track record of innovation and collaboration, capable of working with diverse teams in diverse locations, engaging their input and commitment to success.
