Job Title: Quality Control Assistant

Job Description

As a Quality Control Assistant, you will be responsible for overseeing the quality control of completed vehicles, coordinating and directing team activities, and ensuring that vehicles meet high quality and production standards. You will play a key role in analyzing quality indicators, driving continuous improvement, and implementing quality inspection activities.

Responsibilities

  • Recommend actions and drive quality improvement through coordination, monitoring, and performing specialized technical processes related to completed vehicle inspection, including abnormality management.

  • Analyze internal and external quality indicators to determine quality trends and drive continuous improvement in Safety, Quality, Productivity, Cost, and HRD metrics.

  • Research and investigate quality issues to determine root causes.

  • Execute and implement quality inspection and improvement activities for mass-produced vehicles, ensuring conformity to international standards.

  • Assure inspection of materials, products, and equipment to detect defects and malfunctions.

  • Establish and improve inspection methods to prevent leakage or flow out of post-processes.

  • Develop, maintain, and ensure standards and criteria for Line Inspection to provide a defect-free vehicle to customers.

  • Analyze vehicle problems, conduct improvement activities, audits, and prepare and implement quality meetings.

  • Review early customer statistical, historical, internal, and external quality data to prioritize, drive, and track inspection improvements in new and current models.

  • Facilitate and recommend actions for quality and production departments to improve completed vehicle quality and continuous improvement activities.

  • Manage quality facilities and equipment, including investment cost execution and supplementary investment establishment.

  • Coordinate and participate in plant-wide quality promotion activities, ensuring effective communication between key stakeholders.

  • Prepare, consult, and coordinate external events.

  • Participate in new vehicle projects, including preparation for inspection, establishment of quality securing plans, and response to evaluations.

  • Coordinate new model launch phase quality-gate meetings for review and analysis of equipment and standards issues.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Supervisory experience is desired.

  • Competency in working with a team, planning and organizing, problem-solving, and communication.

  • Strategic thinking and willingness for transformational changes.

  • Flexibility and ability to use logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions.

  • Experience in conducting vehicle fault monitoring and ensuring the adequacy of relevant procedures and computerized systems.

  • Ability to control and monitor corrective actions for quality non-conformity detected in audits.

  • Experience in preparing reports and publishing timelines to provide feedback and improve the management system.

  • Answering for certifications regarding the product and making certification planning to meet market demands.

  • Generating reports on troubleshooting and implementing corrective actions in accordance with policy.

  • Establishing annual operation and budget plans.

  • Implementing activities and training plans to improve employee skills and retaining a high-performing workforce through mentoring and coaching.

  • Building and maintaining positive working relationships with team members and management.

Work Environment

This position requires onsite work. Flexibility with shift rotation is required.
