Our client that specializes in chemical and ingredient distribution and provides services to customers across a wide range of industries such as paints, coatings, & lubricating fluids is looking for a Waste Management Tech to assist with disposals and shipments of hazardous waste materials.

• Pay: 19-20/hr.

• Schedule: 1 st shift, 7am-4pm

• Terms: Contract to Hire

What you will be doing:

• Coordinate the pickup, transport, loading, and unloading of customer waste using forklifts and other necessary equipment on-site.

• Prepare hazardous waste shipments for off-site recycling or disposal.

• Must consistently work safely, striving for zero incidents or accidents.

• Understand and comply with all rules and regulations specific to the customer site, as well as company policies and guidelines.

• Responsible for preparing and verifying the accuracy of all paperwork associated with hazardous waste shipping.

What you bring to the company:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Experience with hazardous waste disposal

• DOT, OSHA, OR EPA regulations

• Comfortable with heavy lifting

• Ability to pass physical test and drug screen.

• May require the use of safety equipment and precautions, Daily exposure to fumes, dirt, noise, and hazardous chemicals.
