YOUR MISSION
As Director of Social Services: The position of Social Service Director provides planning, assessing, coordinating and implementation of services to enhance each resident’s social and psychosocial well being and assure that care standards are met and the highest degree of quality resident care is provided at all times. The position must function as both a team member, team leader, and supervisor to ensure that work is accomplished and quality care is delivered, supporting team members and leading the way in celebrating team successes.
Duties include, but are not limited to: attending interdisciplinary team meetings, facilitating care plan meetings, completing psychosocial assessments, arranging for safe patient discharges, and addressing family/patient questions and concerns.
Supervision by an LCSW-C will be provided for candidates working toward an advance level of licensure.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
4 year college degree in Social Work
Prior experience in healthcare setting preferred
Must be a licensed social worker in the state of Maryland
