Turner Mining Group Administrative Assistant in Elko, Nevada

Our people division is growing, and we are looking for an Office Services Administrative Assistant at our Elko-based client's corporate office.
Responsibilities:
Maintain a high standard of housekeeping in all work areas to provide a safe and healthy workplace for all employees, contractors, and vendors.
Establishing work relationships vital to efficiently execute the daily maintenance activities.
Perform support tasks such as document control, event planning, data entry, and expense management.
Support and maintain Temporary Employee / Contingent Worker company program.
Support and maintain Employment Security Division claims.
Assist with coordinating maintenance such as repairs and remodeling at our industrial, commercial, and residential facilities.
Receive and screen telephone calls and visitors, assist with incoming inquiries, and resolve problems using knowledge of department policies and procedures.
Provide confidential administrative support for the Human Resources department.
Monitor and circulate mail, records, publications, and order and maintain office supplies.
Serve as a liaison between managers, employees, and business partners; scheduling of appointments and meetings.
Prepare confidential documents and presentations.
Prepare and distribute weekly/monthly communications.
Generate requests for payment; code and enter data.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum of two (2) years' prior office administration, knowledge and skills equivalent to that gained through a clerical/secretarial experience preferred
Minimum of two (2) years' previous construction and maintenance experience preferred
Valid drivers' license required
Ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds required
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally at all times required
Ability to organize and prioritize a heavy workload in a fast-paced, demanding environment required
Ability to work unsupervised, and understand/follow work standards and procedures required
preferred
Advanced, proven knowledge of office management/administrative support practices and procedures required
Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion required
Advanced experience with electronic filing systems required
Ability to multi-task, self-manage and self-motivate required
Willingness to work weekends and possible overtime required
Ability to work in inclement weather conditions required
Authorized to work in the US without work visa sponsorship
